Here is a recent job we did at a Hospital in Pottstown, PA. We put down a brand new VCT floor that, instead of going with the strip and wax method, we put down a urethane so that it will last for up to 5 years resulting in significant maintenance cost and time savings. Urethane floor coatings are superior to wax coatings in almost every way possible. In addition to the longer life of the coating, urethanes provide more chemical resistance, stain resistance, abrasion resistance, slip resistance, and are much easier to clean.
